I'm running the LRP Sphere 07 very successfully in both 1/12 and rubber tire touring. I believe the 07 is superior to current Novak offerings as if advances the timing of brushless motor. the speed passion esc offers user tuning of the advance but the older models were a little big for 1/12.

I would by the LRP 07 right now as it just works. the tekin and new smaller speed passion both sound interesting but they don't have a large user base yet.
