The weight of the cars ( 2,4 mm carbon chassis) is considerably lower than the previous versions ... (864gr)
(fully loaded, with Novak BL - as shown on pics)
M12 : 845 gr
Arrow : 834 gr
The Arrow with brushed ESC and motor reaches 825 gr!
After the first run with the M12, I must say it is a very fast car!
FRONT
springs : 0.022
suspension : old skool
tires : jaco 2xpink
REAR
springs : white
tube lube : CRC red
tires : jaco yellow
Center spring : gold / 30wt oil
Just not enough steering, so will go for 0.020 or 0.018 front spring
or for jaco black / gray tires.
The chassis itself provides lots of grip, for indoor carpet racing
a bit too much => too much flex (better for outdoor/asphalt?)
=> maybe look for a 3.0 mm thick chassis for carpet ?
Also thinking about moving the side links (chassis points) a bit more to the front and the inside (thanks to the wider chassis I have plenty of space to do so
top view). I'm curious about
the effect (if any) on entering corners ! (see
CRC - Battle Axe- - they placed there links -on chassis- more on the inside)
