Questions about Sportwerks 21V2
I am going to try out a Sportwerks 21 V2 bumpstart engine and had a few questions.
My plan is to use a Dynamite 086 pipe. Is this an OK pipe for the engine, for overall performance?
What thickness of shims come stock with the engine? I plan on running 30% Tilted fuel. Do I need to add a shim? If so, what thickness?
I would like to understand if there are any weak points to this engine that I should be aware of (ie carb leaks, bearings NG) so I can try and fix them.
How is the reliability of this engine compared to the higher dollar motors? Is this engine fairly ease to tune?
I may also try to do some port work myself on a 21 V2 at some point. If anyone has done (or had done by someone) porting on the sleeve (or work on the crank) with good success, could you please post pictures.
