24OZ, I think you will have better luck testing with these LiFePO4 batteries. Not A123 brand, but Sub-C size which makes fitment really easy. The final price to make each pack including hardware was $30. I Charge and Balance with a aligator clip hookup. Just like NiMH but I clip the blanace to the buss bar.
I made these 2S2P's for my oval and 1:12 car, but for those pro-tens I would make a saddle pack of a 2S3P. These cells weigh about 20g less per cell than NiMH so you would want 6-cells to equal the same weight as a 4-cell pack. If my oval car had a 6-cell cutout I would have made a 6-cell pack

Thanks for the USEFUL information. I was just about to come to the conclusion that the Pro-10 folks were all elitist snobs. I guess every hobby has those types.
The A123 cells have some specific characteristics that other cells of similar technology do not. Do you have any other information on these LiFe batteries that I can reference?
