Just curious, I know tires should be trued perfectly straight for the best flat down traction but i have seen some drivers true their tires at a slight angle, how does that affect tuning, etc?
I've heard of that being done on 1/8 on-road cars but that's cars with WIDE tires and independent suspension (hence camber gain/loss with chassis roll). 1/12 cars have a straight axle...if you're rolling up onto one side of the tire you're lifting the other and that ain't how they wanna work.
I'm not aware of anyone truing taper into tires on 1/12 and if they did I would question a) why, and b) what is it solving that a properly set up car wouldn't have similarly solved?
