If you carpet racers are worried about scratching your chassis' just do what I do and buy one of those AE chassis protector sheets for $8. They work great and when you pull it off, just use motor spray or Albany brake cleaner from AutoZone to clean the adhesive off. The Albany brake cleaner is also the only brake cleaner I know of that doesn't harm lexan. You can use it to clean scuffs off your body, and use it for motor spray, too. Also cleans tires without drying out the rubber too quickly.
