ROAR is simply trying to watch out for the guys who have been in the r/c business for a long time. Alot of these battery matchers & motor tuners probly have contracts that last several years. When these contracts run out these motor tuners & battery matchers will give ROAR the green light. As far as the mamba max is concerned it is a great motor//esc combo for the price. In the short term li//bl setups may set many of these companies back a bit. However, r/c should boom because of this technology. I believe that you will see more top tier drivers due to the fact that guys can run the most technical classes for hours at a time w/out worry & w/ a budget in mind. I mean, 20 nimh packs & 5 brushed motors isn't cheap. However, 2 lipos & a mamba sidewinder 4600 is a great way to turn laps w/ a 1/10th buggy.
