I would go with a 2wd buggy 1st. They are the best class to learn to drive with. You will probly want to start out w/out alot of power available(you can turn your epa down). With 2wd buggies you have to use throtle control or you will be all over the track. 4wd buggies will not teach you this, but they still greatly benefit from it.
