Be careful with this. By just hanging the battery and/or weight off the outside edge of the car, you're not really balancing the car. You're just giving the battery more leverage on the chassis. The left side of the car is still heavier than the right. Best thing to do while our basic car designs are still based on sub-c cells is to try and get the battery as close as possible to the same weight and distribution of that weight as similar to a 6 sub-c cell pack as you can. Id rather have weight attached to the top of the pack and have it be the same weight as a 6 cell pack over having some weight hanging off the outer edge of a pack that's shifted over to the right and weighs 2/3 of a 6 cell pack.A car is only truly balanced when the weight is distributed evenly and in the same location on both sides of the car.
