i have the duratrax stadium truck and it runs a torq 21 engine that always ran really hot so i put some ventalation holes in the body, checked my cooling head for any kind of dirt or debris, and found the best carb settings for the engine and it still wasnt running well so i have started running it with fuels with higher nitros contents and better synthetic oil compounds ,such as the odonell fuels (20-25%) and other higher quality fuels , it runs well now and i can easily run tank after tank through the engine without it killing over on me. also try to avoid terrain such as tall grass , sand (at least with tires not made to grab in sand) , and pine straw for extended periods of time , all of those will make your engine run really hard and at really high rpms witout good airflow , good luck .
