I idle 2 tanks yesterday and started putting around the 3rd tank and this engine seems great!!!!! loads of bottom end snap very peppy engine. This engine might not come out of the buggy. Temps are only at 185 so far on tank 3, do I really need 10 tanks before race tune? Any suggestions on the break-in, I am just following the instructions to the T.
After your first few tanks for idle start to run the engine in the car on high traction surface . Its important to keep the engine warm to hot during break in , once you get to 1 litre then start to tune for racing .. thats a safe way to go ,
Dont baby it too much , they are a strong engine
