I had asked if the ICE charger back-light kit could possibly work in the MRC 989 and this is the response I received.

This kit doesn't fit the mrc charger, we are developing the kit for

Sounds good to me and it looks like a lot of people are happy with the ICE kit. I just wanted to let anybody know that was looking to do the same.
