Hi Carlos, you don't HAVE to run brushless. The top 2 guys at our winter championship still ran 10 and 12 turn motors and had no problems keeping up (and beating) the brushless guys. You have to be a little more careful with run time issues but with modern cells you should be fine. Changing to brushless can work out quite expensive so I'm going to wait until all my brushed motors are knackered before doing so! Cheers mate, Chris.
