The DX3.0 is the newer radio between the two. The DX3.0 has Exponential rates and I believe the DX3.0 has 4 model memory where the DX3 is only 3. The DX3.0 also has a dual-rate override button. The DX3.0 also has a little nicer display and enhanced ergonomics too. This is all off of memory but I would suggest checking out the product pages for each.

Now if you're talking the DX3.0 VS the DX3R that's a different story. There are a number of differences between those that I can go into if that's what you mean.
