I finally got to race mine last weekend and found the same - great turn-in and exit steering but a bit lazy mid corner.
On my local track, this was only a slight issue on two corners, but on all the tight stuff the car was ballistic
I raised the inside front camber link by 2mm which seemed to help.
Broke my personal best race time in the second race (retired from the first race with a dud motor) and set 7 new fastest laps.
The drivetrain has loosened up nicely now, though I did raise the front layshaft bulkhead by 1mm which loosens both the front and middle belts.

front camber link semms to have a very good sweet spot with a 3mm shim
