need more advises from u guys here...
my frd's ED G4S has been stripping his 2nd spur gear.
intially he was on std housing and gear. after going through this thread, he changed the following (just to be sure...
) :
1. 2speed shaft bearings, clutch bearings.
2. changed to duro housing, gear and 2speed shoes.
3. clutch endplay seems ok. about 0.1-0.2mm.
4. 21T pinion.
after doing all the above, his 2nd gear still strips!
next we tried just swapping the std clutch bell with 24T (non-ED), and it was ok, no more gear strips...what's going on here?
the ED 21T is the culprit it seems.
any advises/comments?
