John, I used the ball cups that came with the kit. Are these the SPECIAL ballcups you're talking about. I've ordered a new set from Tower. I understand that my shocks being 63.5mm would account for the extra ride height but the ballcups I have on now can't be screwed up high enough to bring the shock length to 60mm and I'd be way up past leaving just 1 thread showing on the shaft.
