I too have the jr x3. Liked the radio, then I went to the 3pk. Big difference. I also tried the novak crystaless receiver. After using it for about a month I began having bad glitching problems with the receiver using the Futaba and Jr txs. I did use extra servo tape in both my ntc3 and mrx3. Presently I put the novak in my b3 buggie and no problems. So just beware or going crystaless ifor nitro
