They say in the manual you can have over 40+ runs (2wd)!!!

So would like any info about this motor??

Are they really good?

Better than the V2's?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
That motor is probably the best brushed mod on the market. As far as how many runs you will get it depends on what you want.

On road sedans are much tougher on motors than off road cars so life is a lot shorter between rebuilds.

If you max power you need to cut the com every run and just deglaze the brushes with a fiber glass pen. Break it in for 5 min and 2v and you are good to go. This will also make you comm last longer.

If you re run the motor you will get a little less power every run until about the 5th run where it will start to feel a bit off. When you cut the comm you will have to remove a bit more than if you has cut it every run to make it perfect.

The silver brushed it comes with will last ~25 runs before they get too short and you lose power.

Note that this a most often run on 5 cells. IF you run on 6 cell or Lipo be careful about gearing. If the motor (any 7 or 8 turn BR for that matter) gets spinning too fast at the end of the straight it WILL throw a wind and the motor will be ruined. At my local 150'x70' asphalt track I geared mine at 9.00 FDR. If I geared it any lower (like 9.39 FDR) it will self destruct within 5 min.

This is why 90% of all mod drivers run BL now.
