Well I just got back on the Xray train, bought myself a t2'008. Gunna be running 19T on ashpalt... any tips or tricks I should know about before I start the build? Last Xray that I built was a T1FK, so I'm hoping for the same ease of assembly and use.
Yes, buy some extra belts. The new split pulley design on the layshaft is eating the belts more quickly than the previous single-sided double pulley design. And since the Rubber cars use even smaller layshaft pulleys, the belts are unraveling even quicker.
Other than that, the '008 is just as robust but better than all previous versions.
