Congrats on your win, and thanks for introducing me to Danny.
And just to clarify something, there was no tech there on Friday. They didn't check tires or motors. I know, because they didn't check mine, or any of the racers I talked to (and I spoke with almost everyone there) In fact, half of the racers didn't know they were suppose to take their tires into the shop to get them stickered and signed. Which by the way was not the racer's fault because there was no drivers meeting to inform them. And even if they sticker and sign your tires, they don't know how many sets you teched in, because they didn't mark off how many sets was teched by each racer (again, I know, because I asked). I wasn't sure if there was a ROAR rep there for the event, but I would sure like to talk to him.
I better stop...the race is over, all is history. I just hope they (the track, the organization ROAR) learned a lot from this race and will continue to try and make national events better
