I finally have everything for my Jammin X1-CR except an engine. Being that I am just starting out in nitro I figured to get something cheap that someone pulled from an RTR car and run it until it died on me. However, I am also looking at the OS $150 engine (.21VG) but was wondering if maybe I should just pony up the extra $50 for the Go tech?

the track that I would be on in the winter is really tight and small, but the summer track seems to be quite a bit larger. if anyone knows the Medina R/C track just south of Cleveland, that is the one I am speaking of.

Anyway, if I monitored temps as I should, ran 30% fuel, and heated up the engine before running, is there any reason that I should be worried about destroying it? (a Go-Tech) Also, which would you guys recommend for a Jammin buggy? I was originally just going to go with teh Go 3 port standard version, but the 5 port and 7 port seem like they should run a lot better. Is there a newer 3 port that I should look at? Any help would be appreciated.
