Keep in mind that 1/8th scale onroad and 1/10th scale onroad classes use foam tires that change in diameter over time. Those guys get used to adjusting the handful of setup differences on a setup board.
If the difference is really only 1mm, the change to your overall drive ratios would also be minimal but you'll run slightly higher geared (more speed, less acceleration).
I wouldn't hesitate to use these if I no longer had access to GRPs.
I stand corrected on my measurement. There is a 5-7mm difference in diameter between the Kyosho/OFNA tire and the Sportwerks tire. That would mean dramatic changes in suspension to change ride height and you would have to make a major cut in the front wheel wells so the tires could turn freely. My bad on the misinformation from my last post.
