If your suspension is set-up correctly bump steer shouldn't be an issue at all.

A well set-up Mini will only use a few mm of travel, and over that sort of distance bump steer is virtually non-existent anyway.

It only looks bad when you're holding the car in your hand and moving the arms up and down. On the track it has virtually no effect.
