Right on Barry. As long as you take care of them and do it the right way, you won't have any problems.

Heck I've even run deadshorted IB4200's from April and still haven't had them blow. From what I have seen, as long as the voltage per cell is 1v or lower and all the cells are equal, you will won't have a problem. I have charged old packs from 6-8 amps and still have yet to blow a pack.



Even as lipo gets bigger and is allowed for competition companies will crank as much into them as they can and the racers will try to crank as much out of them as they can. Everyone wants to be faster and will push it to see how fast they can get. If you aren't pushing, you aren't racing.

No matter what cell you have, eventually you will have problems.

If you properly use what you have, the possibility of a problem decreases.
