I went to a Skate shop and bought some clear adhesive plastic that they use to protect the bottoms of skate boards. Some of the stuff you can get is a little thick so use as little as possible if this is what you get. You can also get some similar product that you put on the top of your tennis racquet which is excellent as well.
I only use it on the front and back of the chassis and a strip down each side.
