Are you putting the truck under a lot of stress? You might be hitting voltage cut off if you are. It prevents the pack from discharging completely. But it can accidentally trip if you put the pack under a huge load and the voltage drops down below a certain level. I don't think the Orion packs have this cutoff build into them.
