Lowering and raising the diff tightens and loosens it I would presume.
On a tight grippy track I would definitly use a one-way hands down, you only use a spool when traction is very very low or on a fast flowing track when braking is needed.

Oneways dont work with Mod as the corner entrance point speed is much quicker and braking with basically the rear wheels only makes the car unstable (very) i havent a spool so am trying a tight front diff on sunday.The question with the rear diff height refers to whether a higher,or lower gives more or less grip or stability, due to the angle of the CVD's etc etc.Theres a whole "diff" erent set of rules setting up with a 3.5BL but Im learning.
