I've done the same, car, 200mm touring bocy, 4-cell, etc, but with high efficiency brushed motors, looking for 15 min qual's and 20 min mains.
Curious how it went for you.
I was geared at the same as my 1/12th to start out and got about 12 minutes but when i found out we were doing 5 minute races i geared it higher to really get some speed. I will be trying out 2 cell lipo and 13.5 brushless right after snowbirds on the track. I ran 10.5 with 2 cell lipo in front of my house and the speed was WAY too much
I think with say a 17.5 and 2 cell lipo a 20 or 30 minute main would be a piece of cake.
