Honestly, the 2-piece bodies are not a big deal. Small pieces of servo tape, then plastic 4-40 nylon screws and nuts to hold it all together. They will never come apart. My 'Cudas look pretty dern good, even with the bolts riveting the rear bumpers on.

I'd rather see multi-piece, accurate HPI bodies (as opposed to one-piece fugly things that Parma makes), than try to stretch a negative Lexan pull to the point where the corners of the fenders are so thin that they are almost non race-worthy. To tell you the truth, I like the separate spoilers, too. Gives you lots of options and looks, as well as minor tuning aids.
