What you described was happening to me got so ticked off because my hobbyshop didnt have another one so I took it apart and couldnt get the servo to work what I finally found was that there was some redish pink paint that was inside the motor that destroyed the brushes to the motor some manufacturers use paint or nail polish for protection of motor windings lets see if they will honor a warranty repair or replacement all the racers around me at the mushroombowl say they have had excellent service from hitec never had a problem with a new servo b4, I sent them an email today so I'll be waiting for their reply
