i bet a corally layshaft pulley assembly would work, with 35t diffs (so the c-c distance would be the same). and... that would help gear the car up for brushless (internal drops to 1.67). worth a try. might need a longer layshaft, which should be a piece of cake (every standoff the industry seems to be 5mm od.).
