The ITF chassis is not as thick which allows the car to flex a little bit more in the chassis. I don't know the specific details about it's characteristics other than that. I am running it with rubber tires on carpet.
Depending on the size of the track you will want a one-way (smaller tracks) or a spool (larger tracks) and some softer springs. Then you should be all set.
