Wait, holdup a second. Did anyone see Maifields vehicles. He added weight to the battery brace!!! Weren't some guys worried about raising the CG if they added weight up that high. I guess it isn't that big of a deal after all. If it works for Maifield, it works for everyone else right?
Yeah, the cars around here that I've seen with lipos usually do exactly what Maifield has. They put the weights on top of the battery brace. Then they wrap the whole thing with tape of some kind. The couple I've seen use electrical tape.
