Your manual should tell you that the ICS-Digital (the one with the plug in current-limiter chips?) can handle "any motor", however there is no mention of any Temperature Protection feature.

It does say that the ESC can do 75A continuous, and 115A for 30 secs. ESCs with that kind of current capacity today are usually rated around the 15-turns mark. If you gear your car conservatively, you can probably go a bit lower maybe.
