Yep, those clear plastic fans can just be disconnected or removed. The ESC will not get hot enough for a 10.5 or 13.5 BL Motor. If you still want to run a fan, get Novak's 25mm Black Fan. These will work just as well, if not better, and the blades on the fan won't get broken very easy either.
