finchy, thanks for the reply. I was thinking along the same lines too. The NovaMax is actually a Novarossi based engine with some mods here and there like the JP.

I've also heard horror stories about the Rody tuned engines over here. Some of them I hear have metal debris in the engine and some have problems with the carb needle not wanting to go in... Then again, with such big quantities of engines produced, there is bound to have some quality problems like this.

Anybody know if the NovaMax is based on the new engine spec using the 11.5 mm diameter crankshaft and new bearings like the RB V12 and Novarossi NS12?
