RS4 3 problem
Marines;
Two problems come to mind.
1) you have a pebble floating around in the drivetrain somewhere and it is getting caught sometimes. (less likely on a shaft drive Car)
2) A Bad Bearing causing the Drivetrain to drag.
Try to isolate each section of the Car when doing your troubleshooting. Look for the obvious.
