If you decide to get nitro
a cheap one is the nitro st-15, or if you are willing to spend $260 the duratrax nitro evader.
Make sure you tune the engine right and break in it properly.
I doubt you would want nitro if your Dad isn''t willing to help you put in fuel, and keep the engine from flooding.
