I'm hearing similar news over here. Kits will ship next week. I also heard there will be a number of upgrade kits ranging from the FULL upgrade to individual sections for present 960 owners. I hear the 960 '08 has a new chassis, front arms, rear arms and body support. As for options, I was planning on pre-buying a few in anticipation of the kit but given how much has changed, looks like it's best to wait. I did hear the options package remains the same as the '07 version but given that Kyosho is keeping the pressure on, I'd expect Serpent will remain competitive.

Not a bad kit but when I read the line:
"Throttle servo can be mounted lying down (optional parts required)"
I remember why I switched from Kyosho to Serpent in the first place. Kyosho just seemed to be very option heavy.
