Thanks for your advice on that run in shim too, it made my life a lot easier. Removed it last week as temps stabilized and engine is getting easier to turn over now. Up to 35 tanks and it's starting to really haul now.
Turbo head is next thing on the shopping list.
The 5 port is a nice combo in my buggy, as the strong bottom end suits the tracks I run. With the softer clutch set up and 14 tooth clutch bell it isn't too much of a handful when you gun it out of corners, and it winds up pretty good on the medium length straights with the 086 pipe too. Now I've just got to get used to the power as compared to my old RTR engine
