In my experience there is visible difference between the 4.5 and 3.5 motors, both in performance and consumption. runtime can be a big issue with 3.5 on BIG tracks (here we drive 1/8 track mostly) and 5 cells. Like i said, when looking for runtime i usually change the timming first. If that doesnt help i change for the 4.5
Barber, since you have both, how do you campare the mamba 7700 with the 3.5, both in performance and smothness?
Thank you
first to me two totally different motors smoothness i would have to say the 7700 until castle comes up with a program to run the orion/mamba combo and performance the 7700 can take more abuse the motor would melt first before it stops wat ever you give to it it will take.
do you retard or advance the timing to get longer runtime.
