Questions??

Hi guys,

I'm just breaking in the Cobra engine with the heat cycle method.
With the engine on the car, I runned 5x 3 min with 25% throttle (EPA setting). Then runned it 4x 4 min with 50% throttle.
After the heatcycle period of about 2,5 tanks, I put the throttle EPA at 75%.
Now it has approx 2l (half gallon) of 30% Byron on it using R5 OS plug.
What should be the temp of the engine?
After 5 minutes run on the track at race pace, the temp reading is 300F, which I think is a bit hot. Even when there is visible smoke trail when hitting the throttle on low and high end!

Is this normal? Does the engine still needs to have more run in time?
What can I do to bring the temp down?
Tried to run it rich, however, the temp remain that high.
Pinch is still really tight and I still feel the scratchy metal at TDC.

Thanks in advance for any advice!!
