Take everything off of it and put in the oven @ 250 - 300 degrees for 15-20 minuted( makes everything expand) use very good gloved(so you don't get burnt) pull it out, set in a vice and use a hard wood dowel(like the post above said) and tap it out. I have seen this before and this is what we did to fix it.

....got it out
..but, now i elongated the big end in the rod.....i'm gonna need luck finding a rod.........
