Yes that helps. I am scouting other cars now, and one of the things I need to consider is being able to gear for a 270 foot straight. The RS4 3 and MTX2 and even the reflex (I think) are out because of gearing. That leaves the MTX3, LD3?, R12, GT4 and 705. How is the durability of the R12? The one part that concerns me is the lower pivot balls in the arms; and also the composite Axles. Anyone care to admit slamming some boards and breaking some parts?
270Feet, damn thats a big straight.
I think they will be as durable as the next car, all the suspension and most of the drive train is straight from the Fussion with the 3 speed and 21 engine in it and I have seen one of those running around a velodrome and being clocked at over 100Km/h (small velodrome not much time to wind up) down the straight, I also witnessed some monumental crashes with it and it survived.
I'm still in the process of running mine in so it's all observation at the moment. I'll let you know in a couple of weeks when I have my first race meeting with it.
