Thanks for your replies guys. I am not running the shim. The shop I purchased the motor from told me I would only need to fit that shim if I wanted to run 30%, no mention of using it to assist with the break in
Sounds like it makes life a lot easier. I will fit it tonight and give the beast another run on Sunday. Thanks once again
