I think one of the most challenging parts of brushless is that, no matter what we end up doing, a Stock and a 19turn usually has a sweet spot on gearing. I have not seen it to be such as important in a brushless, you can just gear them up a few teeth and you don't have as many problems as you do in a true stock. There has been mumbles around of limiting gearing options for cars in BL stock... *rolls eyes* can we just put it in the too hard basket now?
One of the big arguments, like Judi has said, let us put put bearings in a stock can, this will, i think, help this whole BL parity thing too and give us a little more power.
