I race offroad with my Mamba system and have no problems with it at all. It has always worked flawlessly from day one and even in my touring car with the Orion 13.5 only has a small stutter but that will be changing really soon.
I find the Mamba Max to be relaible and never ever thermals and I figure you can't win any races if my stuff thermals all the time. Last weekend 3 guys thermaled out of the 13 mod buggies they had.
Right, you wont thermal, just melt down of the rotor (or cracked) Id reather thermal, than lose my investment. The 3 guys thermaled in your race was probably do to user error. (wrong gearing)
