Not Accurate... The spectrum receivers struggle due to high current draw of the servos that must pass thru them.

The new Tekin speedos have a better BEC that actually supplies more current and maintains voltage better. A weaker BEC actually causes less problems. It is not a voltage supply issue. It is a voltage stability issue at the receiverdue to current surges. Larger current equals larger ripple on the 6v line.

The G11 does not have a regulated BEC which allows it to supply all the current that is asked for. IN the 90's this was the best BEC available until servos started drawing huge current.... which we supply to our own demise until it literally melts the solder in the esc and basd things happen. All new Tekin speedos have a very good regulated BEC.

The original 1200 receivers are the worst, the Pro's are better, The micro is even better and the new DR3 receivers are the best. In each case they added more and more capacitors in the reciever.

Thanks,

We have one and we are all smiles. Very light and easy to use. Runs on 4 cells! Also good ergonomics for large hands. Not an issue for me, but Zken of Tekin is about 6'7" and this is the first radio he has been comfortable with.
