I dont often post in the forums but this brushless rubbish gets my goat. Why cant all types and classes be catered for. I get very pi...d off when some one tries to enforce their own rules on every-one else. I run Banzai in stock onroad and at our track no brushed motor has got to within 2 laps of a so called equivalent brushless. Of course they dont want the 2 types running together. This would show the disparity between the motors (at least in stock o/road). It is a shame the brushless suppliers all cheat by claiming which motors their products are equivalent to.
I too could go brushless but instead I have gathered a core group of racers at our club who are going to demand the 2 be tested correctly and graded accordingly or separated into completely different classes. We are more than 50% of the class so I am sure the result will be favourable and fair.
Sorry about the rave but this only just touches on my feelings on this issue.
